Jerko Leko (born April 9, 1980 in Zagreb , SFR Yugoslavia ) is a former Croatian football player .

Career

society

Leko started his career at Dinamo Zagreb . In 2002 he was signed by the Ukrainian club Dynamo Kiev , with whom he won the Ukrainian Cup in 2005 . For the 2006/07 season he moved to AS Monaco in the French first division. In the summer of 2010, Leko signed a contract with the Turkish first division club Bucaspor . In 2011 he returned to Dinamo Zagreb where he played three seasons and was Croatian champions in 2013 with his club. From 2014 he spent two more years with league competitor NK Lokomotiva Zagreb until he ended his career in 2016.

National team

Leko was used in 59 games for the Croatian national soccer team between 2002 and 2009 . He was also on the Croatian squad for the 2006 World Cup and the 2008 European Championship .
