Wladyslav Viktorovych Vashchuk ( Ukrainian / Russian Владислав Ващук ; born January 2, 1975 in Kiev ) is a Ukrainian football player .

Career

From 1993 to 2002 he played for the football club Dynamo Kiev . In the meantime he played for Spartak Moscow and Chornomorez Odessa . In the summer of 2004 Waschtschuk completed trial training with the German Bundesliga clubs Hannover 96 and 1. FSV Mainz 05 , but was not signed. From 2005 to 2008 he played again for Dynamo Kiev. Vashchuk won the Ukrainian championship nine times and the Ukrainian Cup six times. For the club he scored twelve goals in 274 games. Since 2009 Wladyslaw has been under contract with Chornomorez Odessa again.

National team

He was also appointed by the Ukrainian national coach Oleh Blochin to the 23-man squad of the Ukrainian national team for the 2006 World Cup .

Wladyslaw Waschtschuk's dismissal during the game against Spain (0: 4) on June 14, 2006, 3 p.m. in Leipzig was the first red card of the 2006 World Cup as the result of a gross wrong decision by Swiss referee Massimo Busacca .
