The Premier League 2002/03 was the eleventh season of the Premier League , which was hosted by the FA , and at the same time the 104th first division season in English football. It started on August 17, 2002 and ended on May 11, 2003.

Champion was Manchester United , which won the Premiership title and the 15th championship trophy for the eighth time. West Ham United , West Bromwich Albion and AFC Sunderland had to relegate to the second division .
