Football League First Division 1910/11

The Football League First Division 1911/12 was the 24th season of the highest English football league . It began on September 2, 1911 and ended on April 29, 1912.

The Blackburn Rovers won the English championship for the first time in their club history by three points ahead of Everton . Both newly promoted West Bromwich Albion and Bolton Wanderers were able to receive the class. Instead, Preston North End and Bury FC had to move into the Second Division . These two clubs should be replaced in the following season by the two second division promoted Derby County and Chelsea FC .

A total of 511 players were used, with The Wednesday with 18 the fewest and Bradford City with 36 the most players in league games. 128 newcomers faced 157 footballers who last came into play in the 1911/12 season. 7 players were able to play all 38 league games of their club.

    The Blackburn Rovers championship team

The following list lists all players who were used in a league game for the Blackburn Rovers during the 1911/12 season. It must be noted that in English football a minimum number of games is usually required in order to receive the official championship medal. Since there was uncertainty about the specific regulation before the introduction of the Premier League, all players who presumably did not receive a championship medal due to their low contribution were marked with an asterisk (*). The number of missions and the goals scored are given in brackets.
