Football League First Division 1911/12

The Football League First Division 1912/13 was the 25th season of the highest English football league . It began on September 2, 1912 and ended on April 30, 1913.

The AFC Sunderland won by four points before the new FA Cup winners Aston Villa fifth English championship in their history. Both newly promoted Derby County and Chelsea FC were able to receive the class. Instead, Notts County and Woolwich Arsenal had to move into the Second Division . These two clubs should be replaced in the following season by the two second division promoted Preston North End and Burnley FC .

A total of 485 players were used, with The Wednesday with 16 the fewest and Bradford City with 31 the most players in league games. 125 newcomers opposed 123 footballers who last came into play in the 1912/13 season. 13 players were able to play all 38 league games of their club.

    The Sunderland AFC championship team

The following list lists all players who played in a league game for Sunderland AFC during the 1912/13 season. It must be noted that in English football a minimum number of games is usually required in order to receive the official championship medal. Since there was uncertainty about the specific regulation before the introduction of the Premier League, all players who presumably did not receive a championship medal due to their low contribution were marked with an asterisk (*). The number of missions and the goals scored are given in brackets.
