Football League First Division 1912/13

The Football League First Division 1913/14 was the 26th season of the highest English football league . It began on September 1, 1913 and ended on April 27, 1914.

The Blackburn Rovers won the second English championship in their club history with seven points ahead of Aston Villa . Of the two promoted Preston North End and Burnley FC only the club from Burnley could receive the class. Together with "PNE" Derby County had to go into the Second Division . These two clubs should be replaced in the following season by the two second division promoted Notts County and Bradford Park Avenue .

A total of 511 players were used, with Oldham Athletic with 20 the fewest and Bradford City and Manchester United with 30 the most players in league games. 155 newcomers opposed 151 footballers who last came into play in the 1913/14 season. 8 players were able to play all 38 league games of their club.

    The Blackburn Rovers championship team

The following list lists all players who were used in a league game for the Blackburn Rovers during the 1913/14 season. It must be noted that in English football a minimum number of games is usually required in order to receive the official championship medal. Since there was uncertainty about the specific regulation before the introduction of the Premier League, all players who presumably did not receive a championship medal due to their low contribution were marked with an asterisk (*). The number of missions and the goals scored are given in brackets.
