A total of 542 players were used, with Grimsby Town with 19 the fewest and Tottenham Hotspur with 36 the most players in league games. 136 newcomers opposed 153 footballers, who last came into play in the 1934/35 season. 24 players were able to play all 42 league games in their club.
The following list shows all players who played in a league game for Arsenal FC during the 1934/35 season. It must be noted that in English football a minimum number of games is usually required in order to receive the official championship medal. Since there was uncertainty about the specific regulation before the introduction of the Premier League, all players who presumably did not receive a championship medal due to their low contribution were marked with an asterisk (*). The number of appearances and the goals scored are given in brackets, lastly the number of all first division games up to that point. The Arsenal players had played a total of 2,657 first division games at the end of the season.
Hughie Gallacher scored five goals for Derby County in an away game against Blackburn Rovers on December 15, 1934.
Billy Hartill scored five goals for the Wolverhampton Wanderers against Aston Villa on September 3, 1934.
Alf Lythgoe scored five goals for Huddersfield Town against Blackburn Rovers on April 13, 1935.
On April 22, 1935 ended Tommy Urwin from AFC Sunderland the last player his active career, which had begun before the First World War. He made his debut for Middlesbrough FC on January 1, 1915 and played a total of 192 league games for Middlesbrough FC, 188 games for Newcastle United and 50 games for Sunderland AFC.
