National Division 2001/02

The national division 2002/03 was the 89th season of the highest Luxembourg football league .

The CS Grevenmacher won the first title in the club's history and at the same time the Luxembourg soccer cup and thus made the double perfect.

Championship format

The twelve teams first played a basic round consisting of a simple round trip. Then the four best teams competed against each other in the master playoff. The remaining eight teams were divided into two groups, and played for relegation. The results from the basic round were taken along.

Each of these three groups was played again in a round trip. The last two of the relegation groups went down to the honorary doctorate.
