The National Division 1991/92 was the 78th season of the highest Luxembourg football league .

Union Luxemburg managed the title hat trick and won the championship for the sixth time.

The twelve teams first played a basic round, consisting of a round trip. The six best teams then played out the champions in a play-off round. Half of the points from the basic round were added.

The teams in places 7-10 were divided into two relegation groups and played with the four best of the two districts from the honorary doctorate for the remaining four places for the following season in the national division.
