The Grand Lodge and Library of the Ancient Free and Accepted Masons is a Grade II listed building in Sioux Falls , Minnehaha County , South Dakota . It is the grand lodge of the masonic lodge Ancient Free and Accepted Masons in the state .

The two-story building was erected from June 6, 1924 in the style of neoclassicism . The front facade, designed in Corinthian order , is clad with limestone , while the other walls have reddish-brown bricks on the outside and remain unadorned. The entrance is decorated with a festoon and cartouche and bears the name of the box in the frieze . The steel doors, the brown-painted decorative strips reminiscent of wood and the 9 t wire-reinforced glass floor were unique architectural elements for South Dakota at the time they were built. At the back of the building is a library that is one of the largest in a Masonic Temple in the United States. The Grand Lodge and Library of the Ancient Free and Accepted Masons is considered to be the purest example of Neoclassical architecture in Sioux Falls. In the early 1970s it was the grand lodge of 16,000 members.

The Grand Lodge and Library of the Ancient Free and Accepted Masons was added to the National Register of Historic Places on May 28, 1978 as a monument .
