Gandsassar Kapan ( Armenian Գանձասար-Կապան ՖԱ ) is an Armenian football club from Kapan , which currently plays in the Bardsragujn chumb . The Lernagorz stadium has a capacity of 3,500 spectators .

history

The club initially only played lower class. In 2004 the promotion was narrowly missed, a year later the relegation place was achieved with third place in the second division. Although the game against FC Schirak Gyumri was clearly lost with 1: 5, the association decided, however, to increase the league to ten teams. However, Yerevan United and Esteghlal-Kotajk Abovyan were later revoked, so that only eight teams competed in the club's first first division season.

With seven points ahead of FC Ulisses Yerevan , the bottom of the table, who had to compete in the relegation, the relegation succeeded.
