Icelandic Football Championship 1970

The Icelandic football championship in 1971 was the 60th season of the highest Icelandic football league . The league began on May 22, 1971 and ended with the last games on September 12, 1971.

Eight teams took part in the championship, which was played in a simple round trip. The title went to Keflavík ÍF for the third time .
