Icelandic football championship 1966

The Icelandic football championship in 1967 was the 56th season of the highest Icelandic football league . The season began on May 27, 1967 and ended on September 24, 1967.

Six teams took part in the competition, in which they each met twice in a simple round trip. Then the two teams with the same number of points played in a playoff game for the championship title. The title went to reigning defending champion Valur Reykjavík for the 14th time .
