The 1995 Icelandic football championship was the 84th season of Iceland's highest football league . The league began on May 23, 1995 and ended with the last games on September 23, 1995.

The ten participating clubs competed against each other twice in a simple round-trip round. Defending champion ÍA Akranes won the championship for the fourth time in a row and for the 16th time. It was the first time in 50 years that a club won the title four seasons in a row; The last time Valur Reykjavík succeeded in this was between 1942 and 1945 .
