Fotbollsallsvenskan 1999

The Fotbollsallsvenskan 2000 was the 76th season of the highest Swedish football league . The season started on April 8 of that year and ended on November 4, 2000.

At the end of the season, Halmstads BK was able to secure the Swedish championship title for the fourth time in the club's history. With a clear lead on Helsingborgs IF and AIK , the team around players like Torbjörn Arvidsson , Henrik Bertilsson , Mikael Gustavsson , Stefan Selakovic and Håkan Svensson took first place in the table. She last received the Von Rosens Cup as a championship trophy , which was replaced by the Lennart Johansson Cup after the discovery of the involvement of the namesake Clarence von Rosen in National Socialism from the following season .

Newcomers GAIS Göteborg and Västra Frölunda IF had to relegate directly. The third from bottom of the table, promoted BK Häcken , met in the relegation round against Mjällby AIF , the table third of the newly created single-track second division Superettan and managed to stay on penalties .
