The Fotbollsallsvenskan 1965 was the 41st season of the highest Swedish football league . Between April 11 and October 24, 1965, the Swedish football champions were played in it.

Twelve years after winning the Swedish championship for the last time, Malmö FF was able to win the championship again. The team around Rolf Björklund , Bo Larsson , Ingvar Svahn and Prawitz Öberg won the Von Rosens Cup for MFF for the sixth time in the club's history . The promoted Hammarby IF and GIF Sundsvall occupied the two relegation places and had to relegate directly back to Division 2 .
