Fotbollsallsvenskan 1992

The Fotbollsallsvenskan 1993 was the 69th season of the top Swedish football league . After the championship had been held in previous years with ten teams and separate championship and relegation rounds following regular playing time, this season returned to the normal mode until 1981 of playing the championship in a simple league mode with two legs. From then on, 14 teams played for the Von Rosens Cup .

The dominating team at the end of the 1980s and the beginning of the 1990s IFK Göteborg achieved the 14th championship in the club's history with the seventh championship title within eleven years. The team supervised by Roger Gustafsson around players like Thomas Ravelli , Jonas Olsson , Pontus Kåmark , Magnus Erlingmark , Stefan Lindqvist and Magnus Johansson prevailed with five points ahead of runner-up IFK Norrköping .

At the end of the table, Örebro SK and promoted Degerfors IF reached the relegation places, but were able to prevail in the relegation games and manage to stay up. The promoted IK Brage and Örgryte IS occupied the direct relegation places and were relegated to Division 1 .
