Fotbollsallsvenskan 1962

The Fotbollsallsvenskan 1963 was the 39th season of the highest Swedish football league . Between April 15 and October 20, 1963, the Swedish football champions were played in it.

Last year's champion IFK Norrköping was able to defend his title and thus celebrate the eleventh championship title since winning the Von Rosens Cup for the first time in the 1942/43 season. The newly promoted AIK , who had the highest average attendance in the league, knew how to surprise and took third place at the end of the season. The other promoted IS Halmia had to relegate directly and was accompanied by the Stockholm club Hammarby IF in Division 2 .
