The Allsvenskan 2020 is the 96th season of the highest Swedish football league Allsvenskan. The season was originally scheduled to open on April 5, 2020, but due to the global COVID-19 pandemic , the start has been postponed to June 14.

mode

The 16 teams play against each other twice during the season; once at home and once away. Each team plays 30 games.

The two bottom of the table are relegated directly to the Superettan , the third from bottom plays in a relegation round consisting of a two-legged friend against the third-placed team in the second division.
