The Falkenbergs FF is a Swedish football club from the city of Falkenberg . The club was founded on January 3, 1928 and has played in the Fotbollsallsvenskan , the highest Swedish league , since 2018 .
In addition to the men's soccer section (since 1928), the club has a women's soccer section (since 1955) and one for youth work.
The men's soccer team played most of the club's history in the lower divisions. Since the 1990s, however, the club was able to hold on to the second Swedish football league for longer periods . After rising again in 2003, the team was able to establish itself in the midfield of the league. 2013 succeeded in 1st place, which means promotion to the Allsvenskan . In 2015 they were able to successfully defend their relegation by a 2: 2 and 1: 1 against IK Sirius in the relegation. Relegation followed in 2016 with only two wins this season as bottom of the table. In the Superettan 2018 , he rose again as second in the table.
