IPKO Superliga 2018/19

The IPKO Superliga 2019/20 was the 74th season of the highest Kosovar league in men's football . It began on August 17, 2019 and ended on July 26, 2020. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Kosovo , gaming was suspended between March 10, 2020 and June 4, 2020.

KF Drita became master . The climbers of the second division were KF Kosova Vushtrri and KF Dukagjini. They replace last year's relegated KF Liria and KF KEK .

Following UEFA approval, Kosovo will take part in European competitions with three instead of two teams. The champions take part in the preliminary round of the UEFA Champions League , while the runners-up and the winners of the Kosovo Cup play in the UEFA Europa League . The Kosovar Football Association has also mentioned that this season will be the last season with twelve teams. They plan to reduce the number of participants in the teams from twelve to ten.

mode

The twelve teams each played against each other three times, so that at the end of the season each team played 33 games. So six teams would have played one more home game in the end.
