The Premyer Liqası 2019/20 , officially called Unibank Premyer Liqası after a sponsorship agreement , was the 28th season of the highest Azerbaijani league in men's football since it was founded in 1992. It began on August 16, 2019. Because of the COVID-19- Pandemic in Azerbaijan , the season was interrupted on March 13, 2020 and finally canceled on June 19, 2020. As leader of the table at the time of the cancellation, Qarabağ Ağdam defended the championship title.

The eight teams were to play against each other four times on a total of 28 match days; twice at home, twice away. After the 20th match day, the season was canceled.
