The Premyer Liqasi 2015/16 , officially for a sponsorship agreement Unibank Premyer Liqasi called, was the 24th season of the highest Azerbaijani league for football men since its founding in 1,992th

The season round began on August 9, 2015 and ended on May 20, 2016 with the 36th match day being held. The PFK Simurq Zaqatala team withdrew due to financial problems before the start of the season on June 21, 2015. She was replaced by the third placed Birinci Divizionu , Rəvan Baku FK .

Rəvan Baku FK and FK Xəzər Lənkəran received no license and were not replaced. The following season started with eight teams.
