The Qəbələ Futbol Klubu ( Qəbəl ə FK for short ; also FK Qäbälä , Qäbälä FK or FK Gabala ) is an Azerbaijani football club from Qəbələ . The club plays in the Premyer Liqası , the highest Azerbaijani league.

history

The association was founded in 1995 as Göy Göl Xanlar. In 2006 he moved his seat from Xanlar (now Göygöl ) to Qəbələ .

The team reached third place in the domestic league in the 2013/14 season and qualified for the UEFA Europa League for the first time . They also reached the final of the national cup competition, losing it on penalties against Neftçi Baku PFK .
