Oleksij Anatolijowytsch Haj ( Ukrainian Олексій Анатолійович Гай ; born November 6, 1982 in Zaporizhia ) is a Ukrainian football player .
The defensive midfielder was a fixture at Shakhtar Donetsk, where he was under contract from 2000 to 2013. In the meantime he was under contract with Illitschiwets Mariupol from 2004 to 2006 .
He also now plays regularly for Ukraine , for which he played his first game in 2002.
