Premyer Liqası 2011/12

The Premyer Liqası 2012/13 , officially called Unibank Premyer Liqası after a sponsorship agreement , was the 21st season of the highest Azerbaijani league in men's football since it was founded in 1992.

The first round of the season began on August 4, 2012 and ended on March 3, 2013 when the 22nd matchday was held. Both the championship games and the relegation games began on March 12th with the 23rd matchday. The last games were played on May 19th.

First round

In the first round of the season, the twelve clubs played for participation in the games of the championship finals. This required a placement in the first half of the table. The clubs that were in the second half of the table after the 22nd matchday have to compete against each other in the relegation round in the second half of the season.
