The 2012/13 Super League was the 54th season of the top Greek division in men's football and the seventh under the name Super League . It began on August 25, 2012 and ended on June 2, 2013 with the last day of the Europa League playoffs.
Defending champion Olympiacos Piraeus was able to successfully defend the championship.
Probably the most surprising newcomer to the top division is AO Platanias from Crete. Benefiting from the forced relegations, the club managed to move up several leagues in a very short time and is now in the Super League for the first time.

Play-offs
The teams in places two to five of the main round reached the play-offs, in which the three other participants were played in international competitions. The clubs that occupied places two to four in the regular season received a point lead of 1/5 of the point lead on the fifth of the regular season (with commercial rounding): PAOK Saloniki received 18 points due to the lead of 18 points a lead of 4 points (18/5 = 3.6, rounded to 4). Asteras Tripolis has a lead of 12 points and therefore got 2 points (12/5 = 2.4, rounded to 2) and Atromitos Athens had a lead of 2 points in the regular season and therefore started the play-offs without a bonus (2/5 = 0.4, rounded to 0). Everyone played a game against each other, so that 6 games were played.
