Ljubomir Fejsa ( Serbian - Cyrillic Љубомир Фејса , born August 14, 1988 in Vrbas , SFR Yugoslavia , today Serbia ) is a Serbian football player . He plays in defensive midfield at the Portuguese club Benfica Lisbon and in the Serbian national team .

Career

society

Ljubormir Fejsa began his career in the youth team of FK Hajduk Kula and quickly rose to the senior team. In July 2008 he moved to the Serbian top club FK Partizan Belgrade for a transfer fee of 1.2 million euros . In the summer of 2011 he moved to the Greek record champions Olympiacos Piraeus . He came to twenty league appearances. In the 2013/14 season, Benfica Lisbon secured the services of the Serbian midfield player.

National team

Fejsa played for the Serbian U-21 national team and took part in the 2008 Olympic Games . He made his debut for the Serbian national team on November 24, 2007, when he came on as a substitute in the 70th minute for Nikola Žigić in the qualifying match for the European Football Championship in 2008 against Kazakhstan .
