Duarte started his career at Espanyol Barcelona . In 2011 he played for Espanyol Barcelona B for the first time . He made his professional debut for the first team at 22. Round 2014/15 against FC Valencia .

For the 2017/18 season Duarte moved to Deportivo Alavés . There he made his debut on September 20, 2017 in the game against Deportivo La Coruña .
