history
The association was founded in 1969.
After many years in the lower class Tercera División and the Segunda División B , Polideportivo Ejido managed to rise to the Segunda División in 2001 , where they played for seven years until they were relegated as 22nd in the 2007/08 season. After persistent financial problems, the club went bankrupt in January 2012. After the dissolution of the club, some players and members founded the successor club CD El Ejido in June 2012 .
Polideportivo Ejido played in light blue and white. The club played until its dissolution in the Estadio Municipal Santo Domingo , which had 7,870 spectators.
