The Segunda División 2007/08 (officially Liga BBVA ) was the 77th season of the second highest Spanish football league . It began on August 25, 2007 and ended on June 15, 2008 with the 42nd game day. Master became the CD Numancia .

Before the season

The 22 teams met twice on 42 match days. The three best teams rose to the Primera División . The last four clubs were relegated.

Relegated from the Primera División took Celta Vigo , Real Sociedad and Gimnàstic de Tarragona part. From the Segunda División B came the FC Córdoba , SD Eibar , Racing de Ferrol and Sevilla Atlético .
