The Segunda División 1945/46 was the 15th season of the second highest Spanish football league . It began on September 23, 1945 and ended on March 31, 1946. The relegation games were played between May 26 and June 24, 1946. Master became CE Sabadell .
Before the season
14 teams competed against each other twice in 26 games. The two best clubs were promoted directly to the Primera División , while the third-placed team was promoted through a play-off game.
The last two in the table were relegated directly, while the third from last fought relegation against relegation.
