The Segunda División 1944/45 was the 14th season of the second highest Spanish football league . It began on September 24, 1944 and ended on May 6, 1945. The relegation games were played between June 17 and 24, 1945. Master became CD Alcoyano .

Before the season

14 teams competed against each other twice in 26 games. The two best clubs were promoted directly to the Primera División , while the third-placed team was promoted through a play-off game.

The last two in the table were relegated directly, while the third from last fought relegation against relegation.

Real Sociedad and Celta Vigo took part as relegated from the Primera División , CD Mallorca , Real Santander and Club Ferrol were promoted from the Tercera División .
