The Segunda División 1994/95 was the 64th season of the second highest Spanish football league . It began on September 3, 1994 and ended on June 18, 1995. Between June 21 and 28, 1995, the play-off games were played. Master became CP Mérida .

Before the season

The 20 teams met twice on 38 match days. The two best teams went straight to the Primera División . The third and fourth placed played against the 17th and 18th of the Primera División for promotion. The last four clubs should be relegated. 1

Relegated from the Primera División took Rayo Vallecano , UE Lleida and Osasuna part. From the Segunda División B came FC Extremadura , FC Getafe , CD Ourense and UD Salamanca .

    1 On July 31, 1995, the forced relegation of the clubs Sevilla FC and Celta Vigo from the Primera División was decided. Then the ruled Spanish Football Federation , Albacete Balompié and Real Valladolid before the sporting descent to preserve, maintain the club number of La Liga. When the license was finally granted to Sevilla FC and Celta Vigo, the league size was quickly expanded to 22 clubs. The vacant relegation places of Albacete Balompié and Real Valladolid were replaced by Getafe FC and CD Leganés, who were thus spared relegation to Segunda División B. In the first instance, Palamós FC should benefit from it.
