The Segunda División 1993/94 was the 63rd season of the second highest Spanish football league . It began on September 4, 1993 and ended on May 15, 1994. Between May 22 and June 1, 1994, the play-off games were played. Champion Espanyol .

Before the season

The 20 teams met twice on 38 match days. The two best teams went straight to the Primera División . The third and fourth placed played against the 17th and 18th of the Primera División for promotion. The last four clubs were relegated.

As relegated from the Primera División , Español Barcelona , FC Cádiz and Real Burgos took part. From the Segunda División B came Hércules Alicante , CD Leganés , Real Murcia and CD Toledo .
