The Real Murcia Club de Fútbol is a Spanish football club from Murcia . The team is also known under the name Los Pimentoneros (for example: The Paprika Men), as this vegetable is a typical cultivation and export product of the Murcia region .
history
The association was established in 1908 as Real Murcia CF founded. In the 1922/23 season, the club was awarded the title Real ( royal ) by Alfonso XIII. approved. The first successes were celebrated when they took part in the finals of the Spanish championship three years in a row from 1926 to 1928. 1940 Real Murcia rose to the Primera División for the first time and was renamed Club Real Murcia . Another name change to CF Real Murcia followed .
After the club was relegated to the Segunda División in the summer of 2008 , he even had to go to the Segunda División B after the 2009/10 season after a disappointing 20th place in the table . In the 2010/11 season, however, succeeded in an immediate return to the Segunda División.

Stadion
Real Murcia's home games were played at La Condomina Stadium between 1924 and 2006 . In October 2006, the club moved to the newly built " La Nueva Condomina " stadium on the outskirts (capacity 31,179 seats).
