Juan Eduardo Esnáider (born March 5, 1973 in Mar del Plata ) is a former Argentine football player and current coach .
The Argentine is of half Volga German and half Spanish descent, his surname is a Spanish version of Schneider .

Esnáider started his career with Ferro Carril Oeste . Esnáider made his professional debut on September 2, 1990 against CA Vélez Sársfield .
In 1991 he came to Europe for Real Madrid for the first time . At the Royal , he initially played in the second team before he could prevail in the first team. With the Madrilenians he won the Spanish Cup and the Spanish Supercup in 1993. In the same year he was signed by Real Zaragoza . A year later he won the Spanish Cup and in 1995 in the Cup Winners' Cup final against Arsenal , Esnáider equalized for the Spaniards. Zaragoza won the final in extra time 2-1.
After his success with Saragossa, he played again for Real Madrid (1995 to 1996), then for a year at Atlético Madrid , two years at Espanyol Barcelona and one year at Juventus Turin in Italy .
When he returned to Real Zaragoza in 2001 , he won the Spanish Cup again. After this success he was signed by FC Porto , to which he remained loyal for a year.
After a brief appearance at Cadetes de San Martin, he came to River Plate in 2002 , with whom he became Argentine champion. In 2003 he returned to Europe and played briefly with AC Ajaccio in Corsica and Real Murcia .
In 2005 Esnáider ended his career with the Newell's Old Boys in his native Argentina.
National team
Esnáider took part with the Argentine U-20 national team in the U-20 South American Football Championship in 1991 . There he was the top scorer of the tournament with seven goals scored. Internationally, he also played three times for the senior national team of Argentina .
