Andreas Reinke (born January 10, 1969 in Krakow am See ) is a former German football player on the position of goalkeeper .

successes

The German championships in 1998 with Kaiserslautern and 2004 with Werder Bremen as well as winning the DFB Cup in 1996 with Kaiserslautern and with Werder Bremen in 2004 are among the Mecklenburgers' greatest successes . This makes Andreas Reinke the only goalkeeper to date to have won German champions as a regular goalkeeper with two teams. In 2003 he was also named goalkeeper of the year in Spain as a Spanish second division player. In 2006 he won the Premier League Cup with SV Werder . In 2011 he rose as a coach with the Bölkower SV in the Landesliga Nord Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.

Others

On February 8, 2006, the 20th Bundesliga matchday, Andreas Reinke suffered several facial fractures after a collision with Martin Stranzl while playing at VfB Stuttgart . He was operated on three days later in the Katharinenhospital in Stuttgart. On April 25, 2006, he played his first test match against SV Meppen after the injury break. During his injury break, he was represented in Werder Bremen's goal by Tim Wiese , whom he was unable to displace even after recovering. Nevertheless, he played in various friendly matches. In January 2007, Reinke played his first two Bundesliga games (2-0 against Bayer 04 Leverkusen , 0-2 against FC Schalke 04 ) after the injury for SV Werder , this time as a replacement for the slightly injured Tim Wiese .

Reinke's contract with Werder Bremen, which expired in 2007, was not extended. Since Reinke couldn't find a new club, he ended his career as an active football goalkeeper.

Goalkeeping coach

For a short time Reinke worked - initially on a fee basis - as a goalkeeper coach for the German U-21 national soccer team and was the successor to ex-professional Heinz-Josef Koitka , who had looked after the goalkeepers of the German U-21 team since 2000. After Dieter Eilts was dismissed as U-21 national coach, Reinke was told that he “no longer needed to come”. On June 13, 2013 Andreas Reinke signed a two-year contract as the new goalkeeping coach at FC Hansa Rostock. After previous failures and the elimination in the state cup against a fifth division team, the coaching team, and thus Andreas Reinke, was on leave on April 2, 2014 and later dismissed.

Trainer

In 2011 Reinke, who now lives with his family on a farm in Bölkow (near Güstrow ), was approached by Bölkower SV whether he would be interested in training the first team. After a difficult start, the season ended with promotion to the regional league. In December 2012, he resigned as a coach after the last first round match.

Personal

Reinke is married and has a son. The Reinke family has been running a farm in Mühl Rosin , in the Bölkow district in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, since 2008 . The Lindenhof Reinke is a three-sided farm from 1757.
