Mühl Rosin is a municipality in the Rostock district in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania (Germany). It is administered by the Güstrow-Land Office , based in the non-official city of Güstrow .
In 2018, Mühl Rosin won the 10th state competition Our village has a future .
geography
The municipality of Mühl Rosin on Inselsee borders directly on the south of the district town of Güstrow. Through the south to southwest of the up to 46.7 m above sea level. NHN high Heidberge preferred municipality flowing Teuchelbach parallel to a minimum of about 500 meters east extending mist whose steep banks are protected. The forest area rises in the south of the municipality from about 10 to 69.5 m height on Bullenberg .
Mühl Rosin is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Güstrow in the north, Lalendorf in the east, Hoppenrade in the southeast, Krakow am See in the south, Zehna in the southwest and Gutow in the west.
The districts of Bölkow, Kirch Rosin , Koitendorf and Mühl Rosin belong to the municipality of Mühl Rosin.
history
The place Mühl Rosin was first mentioned in 1226.
On July 1, 1950, the previously independent communities of Bölkow and Kirch Rosin were incorporated. On August 1, 1965, the communities Gutow and Mühl Rosin were merged to form a new community called Bölkow . On January 1, 1984 Gutow was spun off. On April 25, 1991, the municipality of Bölkow was renamed Mühl Rosin .

The coat of arms was approved by the Ministry of the Interior on April 6, 1994 and registered under number 19 of the coat of arms of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania.
Blazon : “Half-split and divided by gold, red and blue; At the top right a red church with three pointed arched windows in the lower part, a black crutch cross on the roof gable and a black pointed arched window above the cross; top left a golden mill wheel; below three silver wave beams. "

- In Kirch Rosin there is the 750 year old Gothic village church Kirch Rosin from 1270 with a remarkable carved altar from the 16th century.
- The Koitendorfer Stone Dance is a collection of megaliths .
- There is an eco-kindergarten, a youth club and several sports facilities in the community.
