history

Prebberede was first mentioned in 1228 as Priberaze , as Duke Wartislaw III. von Pomerania in Demmin awarded the village of Prebberede to the church in Polchow . In 1296 and 1311 the knight Johann von Büren and the squires Dietrich and Hermann von Büren sold the field, the mill, a wood and the peat bog to the farmers in Prebberede.

The estate was owned by the von Bassewitz family from 1395 to 1945 . From 1772 to 1778, the builder Sidon from Güstrow built a mansion and stables for Carl Friedrich Graf von Bassewitz . The former baroque park was transformed into a landscape park in 1800 . In 1862 the neo-Gothic chapel was built in the park as a family crypt.

A manorial farm was built in the village in the middle of the 17th century .

Belitz: The church is an early Gothic brick basilica , which was probably built before 1314. The manor house was built in 1788.

Neu Heinde was created in 1810 from the towns of Klein Bützin, Neu Krug and Gut Neu Heinde. The manor house is now privately owned.

Rensow has its origins in an old fortification from around 800 (?). The old moats in the south and west were filled in in the 1970s. The property was u. a. owned by the Brützekow family (before 1445), von Bülow and von Lowtzow (1609–1945). After that it was an LPG and is now a GmbH. The manor house, on an older medieval vaulted cellar, dates from around 1685. The two wings were extended around 1750 and rebuilt around 1850. A renovation has been carried out since 2003. Rensow had been used by the Ticino narrow-gauge railway since 1896 , the line was extended to Prebberede in 1914 and still existed in the 1950s.

Schwiessel: Tudor style castle from 1864. The baroque estate manager's house from 1735 serves as a café and guesthouse.

Incorporations
