The national highway 108 (abbreviation: B 108 ) is a federal highway in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern , Germany . It begins in Waren (Müritz) and ends in Laage just before Rostock on the Bundesstraße 103 .

history

From 1932 the line was designated as Fernverkehrsstraße 108 (FVS 108), from 1934 as Reichsstraße 108 (R 108) and later in the GDR as Fernverkehrsstraße 108 (F 108). The course of the B 108 was relocated from 2008 to 2009 at its terminus in Waren (Müritz), as it cut through the factory premises of Mecklenburg Metallguss GmbH . She was shown around the area for around six million euros.

Today's county road from Teterow via Lelkendorf to Neukalen and the subsequent section of today's state road 20 to Dargun were long-distance road 108a until 1990.
