    overview

    History / other

Bundesstraße 521 was established in the mid / late 1970s. On the section of Friedberger Landstrasse between the city limits of Bad Vilbel and Friedberger Warte, it replaced Bundesstrasse 3 in 1995 , which has since run between Preungesheimer Dreieck on the A 661 and Karben-Kloppenheim north around Bad Vilbel.

In the course of the new construction of the Nidderau bypass (2009–2015), the B 521 was routed to the north around Nidderau- Heldenbergen and the intersection with the federal highway 45 was moved to the north-eastern edge of the town.
