The national highway 269 (abbreviation: B 269 ) is a German national road in Rhineland-Palatinate and the Saarland . It leads from Lösnich over the Hunsrück to the French border at Überherrn .
From Lösnich it leads as a feeder to the upgraded route of the B 50 directly east of the Hochmosel bridge and leaves it again at Longkamp . From Birkenfeld to the St. Wendel - Winterbach junction, it runs together with the B 41 . It used to run between Nohfelden and Tholey via Türkismühle , Gonnesweiler , Neunkirchen , Selbach and Theley , today it runs via St. Wendel.
From 1811 to 1824, the section between the border and Saarlouis was part of route impériale 72 "De Metz à Sarrelouis".
Bundesstrasse 269n
Since February 17, 2003, a new section of around 11 km has been built between the A 620 near Saarlouis - Lisdorf and the French border near Überherrn, called the B 269 new , for 78 million euros . This section closes the gap between the French motorway network near Saint-Avold ( A4 ) and the German motorway network near Saarlouis ( A 620 ) and the B 51 near Ensdorf . The last mentioned section used to be called BAB 621 .
In October 2007, a first section of Saarlouis-Lisdorf and the Häsfeld industrial park was opened to traffic. This section of the route is called B 269n and is 3.5 km in length. It cost 14 million euros. On December 11, 2008, the section between connection B 51 and A 620 was also opened to traffic. At the end of 2009, the section from Differter Straße (with a provisional driveway) to the federal border was completed together with the N33 as part of the Creutzwald bypass on the French side.
On August 28, 2012, the last section from Häsfeld to Differter Straße with the connections Linslerhof / Langwies and Überherrn-Mitte was opened to traffic. After the B 269n was cleared, the thorough renovation of the through-traffic of the original B 269, now relieved of traffic, began. In 2013, the Hochwald and Friedrich-August-Strasse in Birkenfeld were also extensively rebuilt. The last section in Alsweiler was renovated from 6 to 24 August 2015 .
