The federal highway 450 (abbreviation: B 450 ) is a German federal highway . It leads from Fritzlar via Wolfhagen to Bad Arolsen and has a length of 46 km.

The federal highway 450 begins south of Fritzlar on the B 253 . Past the Fritzlar airfield , it leads north through Fritzlar and its suburb of Lohne . The B 450 leads past the Bad Emstal districts of Riede , Merxhausen and Sand to Balhorn . South of Istha , federal road 251 meets the B 450; the bypass around Istha (approx. 1 km) runs together. The B 251 then branches off westwards, the B 450 continues in a north-westerly direction to Wolfhagen . Southeast of Bad Arolsen is the Twistesee with its pre-dam , over which the main road leads. In the south of Bad Arolsen, the B 450 then meets the federal highway 252 and ends there.
