The federal road 415 (abbreviation: B 415 ) is an approximately 21 km long federal road that runs in Baden-Württemberg in the administrative district of Freiburg and leads from Lahr / Black Forest to Biberach (Baden) . It thus represents a connection from the Rhine valley to the Kinzig valley.
The B 415 is the direct continuation of the B 36 , which has been downgraded to the L 75 between Rastatt and Lahr , these two streets form an intersection with the A 5 at their beginning and end . The B 415 crosses the city center of Lahr and continues through the Schuttertal . In doing so, it crosses the two districts of Lahr, Kuhbach and Reichenbach, where the residents have long been calling for a bypass due to the heavy traffic.
After Reichenbach, the state road 102 branches off from the B 415 and leads through the Schuttertal to state road 103. The B 415 runs over the Seelbach district to Schönberg . It crosses the mountain below the Hohengeroldseck castle ruins and joins the B 33 near Biberach in the Kinzig valley .
