The federal road 476 (abbreviation: B 476 ) is a 19.3 km long German federal road in North Rhine-Westphalia about 30 km east of Münster , which connects the B 475 near Sassenberg via Versmold with the A 33 near Borgholzhausen .
history
Between 1855 and 1857, a route between Warendorf , Versmold and Borgholzhausen was expanded into a paved artificial road. Bundesstraße 476 was established in the mid-1960s.
After the A 33 south of Borgholzhausen was completed, at the beginning of 2020 the section of the B 476 between the A 33 and the former B 68 at Borgholzhausen-Bahnhof became state road 785.
Planning
The possible extension of the B 476 from Borgholzhausen to the A 30 in Melle , Lower Saxony , was not included in the Federal Transport Infrastructure Plan 2030.
