  • The federal highway 301 (abbreviation: B 301 ) is a German federal highway in Bavaria , which leads in two sections from Abensberg to Fischerhäuser .

    costs

For the north-east bypass Freising (as of 2017), 25.7 million euros have been entered into the budget.

    course

    Northern section

The northern section begins at Abensberg and runs through the Hallertau via Mainburg to Freising . From Abensberg to Attenkirchen it is also known as the German Hop Route . Due to the increasing traffic, among other things due to the connection to Munich Airport , a five-kilometer bypass was built around Au in der Hallertau and opened to traffic in December 2011. With the rededication of the B 11 between Munich and Moosburg as Staatsstraße 2350, the part of the B 11 between the previous end of the B 301 and Marzling, as well as the motorway feeder (previously B 11a ) was rededicated to the B 301, so that it has been at the Freising junction since then -East ends.

    Southern section

The section south of Freising has existed since 2013 and is also known as the Isarparallele . The federal road begins at the Freising Mitte junction on the A 92 and ends in Fischerhäuser at the federal road 388 . It supplements the road connection of the airport and was formed from the stepped former district road FS 44 (A 92 – Hallbergmoos) and a 7.2 kilometer long new line, which was opened between August 31, 2009 and the traffic opening on July 30, 2013 at a cost of around 29 million euros was built. The newly built route between Fischerhäuser and Goldach runs right next to the tracks of the Munich East – Munich Airport railway line . In the area of the junction with the airport feeder from the A 92, the federal road crosses this railway line and the Neufahrner Spange which leads to the Munich – Regensburg railway line.

    Traffic volume

    Southern section

For 2020, a traffic load of 20,000 vehicles per day is forecast for this section.

    Expansion planning

    North-east bypass Freising

Construction work on the almost four-kilometer northeast bypass around Freising has been underway since 2017. The route should branch off from the previous road at Erlau and meet at Marzling on state road 2350 (formerly B 11 ) and the motorway slip road described above. Further connection points are not planned.

    Federal Transport Infrastructure Plan 2030

The first ministerial draft as part of the establishment of the BVWP 2030 was made public on March 16, 2016. The publication of the draft bill was followed by a six-week public participation. After evaluating the comments received, a revised cabinet draft was available, in which the bypass around Mainburg was included in the urgent need. After the departmental coordination at the end of July 2016, the federal cabinet approved the plan on August 3, 2016.

    Trivia

According to the Federal Trunk Road Toll Act (BFStrMG), there was no truck toll on the B 301 until July 1, 2018. Since then, federal highways have generally been subject to tolls for trucks over 7.5 tons.
