German Hop Route

As German hops road which is Bundesstrasse 301 designated by the Hallertau of Freising according Abensberg leads. About a third of the hops grown worldwide come from the Hallertau (also called Holledau ) .

This traffic route was already important for trade in the 12th century, the name Deutsche Hopfenstrasse has been used unofficially since 1955. On June 23, 2006, the name was officially named.
