history
Originally the district consisted of only a few houses, an inn and three farms. It was called Green Heath ; Heath because of the sterile gravel soils, with only a thin layer of soil, because fishermen's houses are also located on the Munich gravel plain . Already in the document from the year 750 the strip of land donated by the Fagana to the diocese of Freising , on whose territory the place was built, was mentioned along the Isar as Haide . Also in 1795 it is said: "After a millennium this Haide is still nothing more than a cattle pasture!"
Population development
While Fischerhäuser only had around 300 inhabitants in 1950, the number of inhabitants almost tripled in the second half of the 20th century, so that in 2011 the place already had 853 inhabitants.
