Moosinning is located in the Munich region in the Erdinger Moos about 10 kilometers southwest of the district town of Erding , 16 kilometers from Munich Airport , 23 kilometers from Freising and about 32 kilometers from the state capital Munich . The airport tangent east leads past Moosinning directly to the east and, in addition to relieving the village of through traffic, also offers optimal connections to the federal highways 92 and 94 .

Nature reserves

  • Interglacial deposits near Eichenried (geotope number 177A001).

history

Until the church is planted

Moosinning was first mentioned in a document in 1031 as "Inning" as owned by the Imperial Monastery of St. Emmeram . Moosinning was the seat of a provost's office of St. Emmeram and was closely connected with it as a basic and partly also as a lower court until the secularization of 1803. Moosinning belonged to the Landshut Rent Office and the Erding Regional Court of the Electorate of Bavaria . The provost's office was only dissolved in 1810.

From 1818

1818 was with the Bavarian Gemeindeedikt the Municipality Moosinning. With the peat railway to Ismaning built by Egon von Poschinger in 1896, peat cutters settled in the moss. This is how Zengermoos and Moosinninger Moos were created. In 1922 the Moosinninger Moos area was renamed Eichenried.

Between 1988 and 2018 the municipality grew from 3,647 to 5,908 by 2,261 inhabitants or 62%.

With the sports and leisure area on Fichtenstrasse, Moosinning has one of the largest sports facilities in the Erding district. The covered grandstand offers space for around 500 visitors, and there is also plenty of standing room on the sides of the square. The national soccer division FC Moosinning plays its home games here. In the 2018/19 season, FC Moosinning (Landesliga Südost) is the highest-class club in the Erding district.
